Heavy hearts soaked in 90's nostalgia, Stay Voiceless was born of boredom and frustration in the South Wales Valleys by Chris Morgan, Cerys Bennett and Andrew Edwards.

Honing their sound in a Blaenau Gwent rehearsal room, in February 2016 the band released debut single 'Comfortable'; 251 seconds of brutal self-analysis and acceptance, receiving praise from BBC Introducing in Wales' Adam Walton, Little Indie Blogs' Linn Branson, with Buzz Magazine declaring the track " a fine alt-rock anthem".

"Truly fearsome and defiant" - Adam Walton, BBC Radio Wales

"These could be a big one by the end of the year – if they haven’t damaged their fans’ hearing before then" - Linn Branson, Little Indie Blogs

Follow up single 'Those kids have no idea whatsoever of what went on at Stalingrad' featured the voice (and support) of Michael Sheen and earned the band a spot in Wales Online's "Future sounds of Wales" playlist, building momentum with regional radio airplay.

With social commentary in their veins and an unrivaled live intensity, support slots with Jetplane Landing, Chuck Mosely and My Vitriol followed, with the band building a reputation of being a difficult act to follow.

"This three piece has a real edge and attitude that you can't miss" - Uber Rock.

"..be sure to check them out. Just don't expect them to be gazing at their shoes on stage with absolutely nothing to say." - Mass Movement.

2017 saw the band head out on their first UK tour and release a third single, "We're Not Lovers".

"... they once again lace sharp-tongued lyrics with angular guitars, fierce punk-rock vibes that are belted out in scorching fashion..." - Ellie Ward, Little Indie Blogs.

2018 sees the band putting the finishing touches to their first long-player whilst bringing their live performance to as many people as possible.

Don't miss it.
